DEFORESTATION

It is estimated that each year, 18 million acres of forest is destroyed each year. Humans are using our Earths natural resources at a rate that is faster than the Earth ability to replenish them. Once the forests are gone, the Earth will not be able to restore them. Half of the world’s rainforests have been removed. This is due to many reasons such as human consumption of lumber, clearing spaces for neighborhoods, businesses, etc. By understanding the costs of deforestation you can help prevent the destruction of our Earth. It is important to use recycled resources and land that has already been cleared instead of destroying our natural environment.
